Discretion first
The Jaz is the shape you buy when the practical constraint is other people: roommates, kids, in-laws, a bedroom that guests walk through. It reads as a small curved accent cushion, and it fits in a drawer.
Everything else about it follows from that choice. It is not the firmest, the tallest, or the most versatile shape here, and it is not trying to be.
Feel
The plush top layer over a foam core makes it the most comfortable small shape to lie on directly. People who tried a dense wedge and found it hard against the hips often prefer this feel, at the cost of a little compression under weight.
The single curve means one working orientation. That is the main functional difference from the Jaz Motion, which offers two.

If you want the same footprint with a second usable angle, spend the extra few dollars on the Jaz Motion; if you want maximum firm lift, buy the Wedge.

FAQ
Jaz or Jaz Motion?
The Motion, for most people. It is the same discreet footprint with two usable angles instead of one, and the price gap is small. The plain Jaz makes sense only if you prefer its single gentle curve.
Is it firm enough to matter?
It supports, but with give. Against hip bones that is a benefit; if you want an unyielding pelvic tilt it will feel soft and you should buy the Wedge.
Can it be used as a normal cushion?
Yes, and that is much of the point — under the knees, behind the lower back, or on a chair, it looks and functions like ordinary support.
Does it travel well?
Yes. It is small enough for a weekend bag, which very little else in the category manages.
