Why the certifications matter

GOLS certification requires the latex to come from certified organic rubber plantations with audited processing; GOTS does the same for the cotton cover. Many 'natural' pillows carry one or neither — Coyuchi carrying both is the product's defining feature.

Molded latex feel

Dunlop latex is denser and slightly firmer than Talalay. The molded core gives buoyant, immediate pushback with no sink — supportive for side and back sleepers, but a feel adjustment if you're coming from memory foam or down.

Profile choice

The 4.5-inch profile suits most back sleepers; the 5-inch suits side sleepers. Dunlop compresses less than fiber or soft foam, so the stated height is close to the sleeping height.
