ComfortZip versus remove-the-fill

Most adjustable pillows make you shovel handfuls of foam into a bag. Nectar's ComfortZip approach changes the support level by zip configuration — three discrete levels rather than infinite tuning. That is cleaner and faster to adjust, though less granular than Coop or Puffy's remove-what-you-want method. Discrete levels do make it easy to return to a setting you liked.

Cooling that is actually present

The cool-to-the-touch cover is a genuine step above the plain knit covers on most memory foam pillows, and Nectar markets the pillow partly on minimizing the heat complaints that follow the material around. It is still foam — a hot sleeper doing serious damage control should still look at latex — but within the foam category the cooling story is credible.
