Firmness and feel
Firm and structured, with less sink than a plush fill pillow. Owner reports frequently mention an adjustment period when switching from a conventional pillow, but its length varies.
Support by sleep position
The square edge is intended to leave room beside the shoulder while positioning the head above the mattress. Whether the head stays neutral depends on how much the mattress allows the shoulder to sink, as well as the pillow's compressed height. We have not measured alignment or shoulder pressure with this current model.
Side-to-back sleepers should be cautious: a height that works on the side can push the head forward when lying on the back. The fixed block is generally less adaptable for stomach sleeping.
Cooling performance
