What the cooling materials actually do
The SmartClimate cover feels cool on first contact, and Tempur-Pedic formulates the foam and cover layers to move heat away from the surface. These are documented design traits; Mr. Squish has not instrumented overnight temperature testing. As with all cooling pillows, expect a cooler first hour rather than an air-conditioned night.
Choosing ProLo vs ProHi
ProLo (5 inches) fits back sleepers and smaller-framed side sleepers; ProHi (about 6.5 inches) targets broader-shouldered side sleepers. Dense foam compresses very little, so measure your shoulder gap honestly before sizing up.
Breeze vs Adapt
