Firmness and feel
Firm and dense with a slow, deliberate response — press a hand in and the imprint lingers. TEMPUR material is noticeably heavier and more supportive than standard memory foam, which is exactly why it holds the neck so precisely.
Support by sleep position
Side sleeping on the correct size is the best cervical support we've tested: the neck sits in a fixed neutral line and stays there because the material simply doesn't compress further.
Back sleepers do well on the smaller contour. Stomach sleepers should look elsewhere entirely.
Cooling performance
The standard model runs warm — dense foam is dense foam. TEMPUR sells a cooling variant with a cool-to-touch cover, and hot sleepers should pay the difference.
Materials and construction
A single molded block of TEMPUR material with a zip-off knit cover. Manufacturing tolerances are visibly tighter than budget contour pillows: symmetrical ridges, clean edges, no soft spots.
Adjustability
None. Size selection is your only lever, which makes the size chart essential reading — measure the distance from the base of your neck to the outside of your shoulder before ordering.
Durability and care
The longest-lived pillow in our lineup. TEMPUR foam routinely lasts five to ten years without losing shape, which offsets the high purchase price. Cover washes; core does not.
